The phrase with all your strength translated literally could say, with your very muchness. There are no limits on loving God; you can never say that you've loved him enough. In our households, we are to shape people who are wholly shaped by the love of God. A temptation in every generation is to fight for the right beliefs to be held or even revered. But this commitment has nothing to do with a commitment to actually obeying that truth.
