Vitelius the Great
The alleged horoscope stated that if Vitelius was ever put in charge of an army, that disaster would ensue. His father used what influence he had to make sure that his son was always posted to non-military provinces. Throughout his career, Vitelius earned a reputation for good-natured laziness and unambitious but honest administration. An unrepentant glutton, he banked frequently, usually stuffing four full meals into a day.
