The Difficulty of Chatbots

Chat GPT's responses are smooth and fluent and confident, which is great. But we're really grappling with like the chatbot version of an optical illusion. And you know, as you know, illusions are really hard to overcome. Warnings don't work, and we are easily misled. The chat format probably makes it more likely that we're just going to not along treating the situation like it's a private conversation.
