The theme of this week's show is mindfulness and how learning to become more self-aware can help us get better at not controlling our emotions. Corey: Most people arrive at a meditation or mindfulness practice, especially to the degree that you have where you've centered your career around it,. They do so because they have searched for a solution to an internal conflict, to a problem, to pain, to suffering. As far as my own experience, yes, I had narcissistic parents that were emotionally abusive and just a lot of wild stories I could tell.
