The Liberal Defection of Ken White

No Pearson called Dutton's announcement a Judas portrayal. The former Minister for Indigenous Australians quit the Liberal Party over the position. Julian Lisa, who was heavily involved in putting together the voice proposal and working on the referendum proposal has resigned from the front bench to campaign for yes. Are these liberal defectors for taking such a brave stand against their leader's position? I don't think that people who defect from their parties unnecessarily should be called heroes by virtue of their defection, even if it's for a good reason.
