Ashley: Here are a few birthdays of people who have been mentioned in movies or TV shows. On May 8th, 1884, Harry Truman was born in Lamar, Missouri. Salvador Dali was born in Figuris, Spain on May 11th, 1904. John Brown is perhaps best known for trying to initiate a slavery revolt and what we now know is the raid on Harper's Ferry in 1859.
