Apologetics is a methodology or what we describe as a way which hangs on a kind of pastoral wisdom and so sometimes it's going to be very direct um. Augustine uses all of these as Mark just was medicinal language and metaphors he loves that right? He's talking about healing and how the gospel brings healing and God and and reordering loves brings healing, but at times he has to take out a surgical equipment and and do something that's hurtful in a sense or feel like painful to the person because he's ultimately doing it for the aim so that he can apply the balm of christ yes. If our if if those cuts are made in a sloppy way ifthose cuts are made
