I'm definitely a subscriber to the view that we should think about knowledge in terms of a community and that most of our knowledge is actually just pointers to information in other people's heads, right? You sort of can't overestimate how ignorant most people are about most things. But what we're good at is depending on other people and as a result, we make incredible progress. So the big question becomes is science making progress? And we could have an interesting discussion of, you know, the hard sciences versus psychology and cognitive science in that regard.
