The Lamb, Not Only a Little Lamb, but a Little Slaughtered Lamb

All of the images are borrowed from already existing images out of the Old Testament and John just exaggerates them. He has almost this comical aspect of a lamb, not only a lamb, but a little slaughtered lamb is somehow prevailing over the beasts of empire. I like to tell people, I'm one of those that have been slain by that sword from the mouth of Jesus and then raised the newness of life.
