The Importance of Closing a Relationship
She's not going to admit his mistake and so she can't base her closure on that. The reason why his criticism has wounded her is because she's still subscribing to his own truths. She criticized her in areas where she was already criticizing her in some way. So even though on some level she would have known this stuff wasn't true, she started to subscribe to those aren't true. We're relying on something outside of our control to give us back control. Like how's that going to work out?
