Apple Is Going to Scan Devices for Child Sexual Abuse Material
Apple has officially killed off their plans to scan devices for child sexual abuse material. This is part of a number of upcoming changes such as the use of hardware tokens for Apple ID and iMessage contact key verification. According to the article they actually stole this one from Signal. It will roll out in the US by the end of this year and it will roll out globally starting in 2023.
