Lucy, the Solstice in Mutual Aid

Lucy was a Christian living in the late 200s CE when Rome had a policy of rounding up and executing members of this at that time fringe religious movement. When she was forced to marry this high up Roman government dude, Lucy tore out her own eyes to prevent the wedding. In the midst of all of this, Lucy's Christianity was discovered and she was executed in this terrible way I won't go into and became a martyr. But I find Lucy's death to be less interesting than her life.
