The Elimination of the X Waiver for Prescription of Buprenorphine for Opioid Use Disorder
The X waiver, which was required to prescribe you for morphine has been eliminated. Congress passed the omnibus bill and that included something called the MAT Act. Anyone with a DEA registration can prescribe buprenorphine if permitted by state law.
