The Challenge Between Science and the Economy
Scientists are always cynics and whereas if we happen to be, dare I say, an economist or something of that sort when we can give an opinion is fine. And we can be much more expansive about our opinions and if we get it wrong, nobody seems to take much notice of it. So scientists then are almost pilloried and we've seen that already with the COVID thing where we got a new completely new disease if you like. But some of the great scientists were very good at communicating to the community. Einstein would be with one of the, one of his many, many interesting quotes where he said, if you can't explain astrophysics to Obama, you probably don't know
