The Story of God in the New Testament

Each correspondence has a specific intended audience many times regional and geographical sometimes demographical but always within a unique unique context. As i see and understand the story of god this will be essential in order to move forward in the new testament as i'm going to teach it. In my opinion one of the most frustrating mistakes we have made in the evangelical theology is that we have placed our interpretive lens on the parts of scripture that we find the easiest to understand since we don't understand the ancient context of the old testament we misinterpret its meaning. We love paul's greek writing styles and we love his imperative prose like he loves to make make commands you will do this do this don't do this
