The rapture is a relatively new understanding of the end times. It's not something that was handed down from jesus. Most main line and catholic traditions don't have any view of the rapture, either pre or post or mid r not a thing for them. And much of what we internalize about the rapture is really modern, and it comes more from pop culture,. The real christians are going to be protected from all o the ship that goes down during the end times because our sole mission is to get as many people saved as possible before they get snatched up.
