The Origin Story of the Internet
A study found that kids who could wait and sit still until the second marshmallow arrived ended up 15 or 20 years later with better SAT scores. "Your origin story, already being rehearsed at the age of three or four, is take what you can get and take it now because you're not sure what's going to be here tomorrow" He says his parents helped him tell himself a story which helps in the long run.
