Is the Unification of Germany a Naive Idea?
I wonder whether there's something in a degree of immaturity in the development of German capitalism at the time that those sort of fault lines as we would recognize them further in history haven't really been drawn yet. There is this ambiguity and there is also this question of maybe we can make an appeal to authority coming from La Salle I suppose. So, sort of like naive idea that hasn't been quashed yet I guess.
