The Importance of Uncertainty

I thought I'd read the John Mannard Keynes quote, because he summarizes it very elegantly. He also discussed this idea in a response to critics of his general theory in 1937. The game of roulette is not subject in this sense to uncertainty. About these matters, there is no scientific basis on which to form any calculable probability whatsoever. We simply do not know. we have no scientific quotation.
