The History of Zombies and Malls
In this chapter, I wanted to talk about like the history of zombies and malls both in film and in novels. And also talk about how that zombie language has made its way over into the business discussion of malls. So when do when does the industry start seeing. When does the dying mall become an image? It's sort of hard to pinpoint because starting in the 80s people started talking about malls dying. But yeah I would say you know dead mall photography and the real like mass die off of malls is really a post 2008 recession thing.
