The Future of Silicon in China

China has a huge, huge base of very skilled people. And from my observations, I think they're moving very quickly along the lines of solving these problems. silicon as a material for semiconductors is almost at the point where they can't push it any further. There's also opto chips which work on light rather than electrical pulses. It may be possible that in the not too distant future, China could actually leapfrog silicon.
