Ucide is really a disorder of the imagination, rather than a disorder of perception. We should be looking for perceptual biases or misperceptions and not at obsessions. The current condi model says that intrusion is eprfectly normal - but i don't think they're the origin of obsessions. I think obsessions come because the person has confused some imaginary possibility with a real possibility.
