Is There a Literature Support for AVAPS?

Most of the literature out there is in support of a chronically vented person with obesity, a hyperventilation syndrome. There was at least one RCT that I'm aware of, but the observational stuff is as tends to be a little bit more exciting. In one study, they show there's a significant difference between AVAPS and BIPAP and achieving GCS goals more rapidly.
