I think there's an asymmetry to a science that looks back and tries to find in this kind of solving a mystery format causes versus this looking forward. And I can see them as induction and deduction, but I also think that they're not perfectly matched onto that. The other thing is, yeah, so you mentioned the overdetermination and underdetermination. This is where I find it very hard to follow actually.
