The Importance of Stats in Football
A lot of those stats missed the point especially when you're going back such long periods that the managers different the players are different it just doesn't really have any relevance. I saw a statistic that Manchin tonight it hadn't won their second game of the season for the last five years and again I couldn't really see how that pattern would be something that is repeatable or significant or really of interest to anyone so yeah they're the kind of stats that I don't particularly like but then again we're never going to see those kind of things disappear because they are interesting to a large segment of people.
