The Evolution of Avalanche
Avalanche started off with a time disadvantage vis-a-vis other elements. The decision to just in the beginning have have an evm chain was actually really great because avalanche would have taken both of those target as simultaneously probably may have been too much by just taking the evm and doing it c chain. Many many initial avalanche successes have that flavor where these are essentially projects that were trying to something on ethereum then realized okay we could do it on the avalanche c chain.
