Selma is a mental health nurse by background, and incredibly passionate about the issue. She says she was inspired to go into nursing after seeing her maternal aunt suffer from mental health issues at a young age. Selma has worked in NHS units, community teams, then went on to lead and manage teams in the voluntary and community sector. Her most recent role saw her working as director of nursing in Saudi Arabia.
