Is Lewis Offering Some Kind of Social Commentary About Wives?

Hank: lewis isn't speaking from personal experience, because he's not married at the time that he writes the silver chair. But is he offering some sort of social commentary there about marriage, about wives? I think he is. He seems to be saying that god is able to take people who are outside the traditional norms or expectations of being people who love god and call them and use them powerfully.
