Is the Internet Going to Open Up Democracy?
The third wave of the internet is de-globalization. There's no presumption anymore that the internet is going to open up democracy across the globe. A lot of people do end up in their own, what's sometimes been called filter bubbles where they're following certain people that agree with them and not really getting exposed to the other side of the argument. Hopefully there are a lot of efforts on their way to try to figure out ways to create a more inclusive sense of what's going on.
