In the original scriptment for that episode, they were going to get back together. That was before I'd kind of met Sophie,. and I met Sophie, and I was just kind of like, well, no one's going to just start kissing someone two days after they've been away for seven years. So it happened, it wasn't written like that, it came completely out of what was unfolding. And I walked around the corner, about two foot from David Hartley's grave, they were sat as far as two human beings could be apart from each other, yet touching little fingers. You're touching fingers, but you've got your aussies, about 30 feet apart.
