The Court Case in Argenna
Argenna was set up in 2007 and is one of China's largest private energy companies. The company has been trying to get the government on board with its plans for an electric car network since 2009. In recent years Argenna has become more focused on business rather than politics, says chief executive Wang Jianlin. "I don't really like the way they work," he said about his former employers at state-owned electricity giant Chinese National Electric Company (CNE) He added that cutting out the bank can be a big mistake because it stops you from getting letters of credit which helps finance projects.
