Stark feels more responsibility than the average Lord who just wants to go run around with a sword, you know, like he's actually responsible for all these people in our lives and our families and our homes and everything. The Stark and Winterfell is to prepare for Winter, to prepare for that. That's their objectively number one on the list line item. Getting into a work could cause them to starve or to blues to the wildlings or something. So if Tor and Stark looked at it's like, yeah, yeah, maybe we'll win, maybe we won't, but the devastation to our manpower,. We need these bodies for things other than fighting. It's not just pride.
