Science is not a process of evolution toward anything, says David Pizarro. Rather it's just new things that we want to know about the universe. If we can learn to substitute evolution for what we do know then many vexing problems may vanish in the process. Somewhere in this maze, for example, must lie the problem of induction. All of them are constrained by the factth we're limited creatures and practising using limited methods.
