The Anti Patterns of Writing a Book
I want to get into this patterns thing you talked about. You actually call them anti patterns and the bad outcomes they're often responsible for. Can you give us some sort of examples of what you mean by that? Yeah, I'm an engineer by background. So I tend to use quite a few engineering type words like 'anti patterns' And I think there are at least five anti patterns that I kind of rail against. One is the book in a week. The second one is this idea of your book being the third factor, the calling card, the nobody ever throws a book away.
