The Importance of Dialectically Persuasive Arguments

I'm very interested to know is when you have these conversations about these moral issues, can you find dialectically persuasive arguments? Other things that you can say that move other people or is everyone just kind of entrenched in their own moral intuitions? Yeah, it's a good question. So I moved around a bit on this and a few other staff did as well. My recollection is most staff stayed pretty entrenched. But we only ask for people to put down their views after we've had that initial discussion where we present the evidence. It might just be that they're not changing their minds about new evidence.
