What I Don't Like About Social Media Apps

I give them some information about me that they can resell. But at the same time there are things that I'm not willing to give Google or Facebook or Twitter. That's for instance using them as logons on services that offer you the possibility of logging in using social media. For the longest time they offered account synchronization only using Facebook and Google Plus, so I adamantly refused to synchronize my data. It's a little bit of a pain but in that case for me the value wasn't high enough to take the chance of having someone access my data elsewhere.
