The Loopholes in the EU's Law

Manufacturers are already looking at a certain exemption for wet conditions like Joe was saying but waterproofing to try to opt out of having to have electric toothbrushes have replaceable batteries. Well it reminds me of the USB-C thing. I remember that must have been about a year ago when the EU said that all smartphones had to be rechargeable via USB-C and everyone said ah right this is finally the end of the lightning connector with iPhones. It makes me wonder what other loopholes there are that the likes of Apple and maybe Samsung will be able to get around here.
