Productivity - A Paradox for the Ages
Over the past decade, economic productivity has grown at a stubborn rate of zero point four % annually. Analists attribute the current slowdown to causes ranging from an aging population to mismeasurement and demographic trends. Robotics and artificial intelligence seem to allow us to do more with less, but this is not reflected in productivity measures. We will later discuss this adoption rate and its implications for our work. And it creates threats, or it may uncover opportunities.
