i mener: I think that the tech lash argument is an argument that silicon valle helped push itself in order to make itself look embattled. Silicon valley really likes to think of itself as the rebel alliance, even though it has definitely become the empire. It wants to do everything possible to make itself seem small and rebellious and embattled again. i promise that's the only star wars reference i'm going to make in all this.
