The Unintended Consequences of Politics

I think he does a much better job in the rest of his political philosophy, talking about the problems that lead to actual political violence and stuff. But I think this focus on delineating goods versus bads reminds me of Isaiah Berlin's stuff on positive and negative freedoms. It doesn't really make sense when you drill in onto it, because getting rid of a bad thing is a good thing in and of itself. And so at all, it takes a simple switch of language to go from one to the other. So disagree.
