Women in Comedy in the 90s
When I was younger, the parts were very similar to each other or their function in the drama was similar. But as I've got older, they're much richer, more interesting characters that I've been able to explore ranging from an Avon lady to a barrister and there's just been more diversity in my casting. And I definitely think that might be to do with aging, whereas when you're in your 20s, it just felt to me, maybe class plays a part in that because I more work in class parts. The landscape changed a bit as well. Works, works better for women. I don't think we're there yet. I think we've got an all way
