Minds Attribute Value
i think minds seek what is meaningful to them in the universe. We don't know what dictates the limits, the topography of mind space. It may be that emotions are part of the processing that attributes value to things. i suspect that minded, as much as life itself, minded ineess is an inherent characteristic of the universe. That consciousness exists at all has to make you wonder if there is some feature of information that makes it possible and perhaps inevitable. I do not feel that any of us knows enough about possible kinds of being and thought to make it worth while taking any of our metaphysical systems very much more seriously than a thinking barnacle might arrive.
