And here's an interesting phenomenon that has come about because of that. Research revealed almost half the nation found the slow pace of high streets to be their biggest shopping bugbear. So what did Liverpool do? They introduced and that's what this picture is, a fast lane for walking. And other cities are beginning to follow it.
