The main virtue of your background in this new setting is using your skills, your very broad experience to help founders as they develop their companies. From a investing perspective, the world of Quantitive Hedge Funds and Venge Capital is very different. The hands-on experience helps us identify the right investments to make or at least gives us an edge in the market on that. There isn't enough investing in a venture fund to do a statistical modeling full-blown optimization.
