The alliatoric shelf sculpture for Friedman-Benda includes a chazillion hand cut mortise and tenons. The piece starts with a mold that is completely disgusting, full of connecting wood without using any metal. So the idea is to let the wood do the work between itself. And only when this huge lump is ready and stable and strong, then you put it into an access robotic machine.
