As we understand it at the moment, the matter and all the stuff that we've discovered only covers about four or five percent of the mass energy content of the universe as we know it. And yet how incredible it is that over the space of just like 100 years, we've managed to build technologies that are able to measure these things. The Higgs boson was one that I thought might not be discovered in my career. But even I didn't expect to see all of this happening within my career. It's important for even me as a trained physicist to be able to say, I doubted that and I was wrong.
