Is Science a Religion?
I would identify philosophy as a science, as the mother of all sciences. And I would identify religion as a certain initial attempt to provide philosophy. So that's basically my ass. Although there are countless people who will disagree with that picture. It is often it leads to important mistakes when scientists think that they don't have to rely on any particular philosophy. This led to various implausible views in psychology for example in the 20th century. And it led to how physics today is done.
