What Does Sponsorship Mean?
The U.S. government is trying to find out who's paying people to sponsor them for parole documents. The idea came from a 1990 law about marriage fraud, but it doesn't have the same statutory guidelines as in that case. It seems like there's a real possibility that fraud is involved when they're filling out the forms and making these promises,. They have to say what their relation is to the person, right? Right.
