The Free Will Doctrine

The free will doctrine claims that the human will is effectively an uncaused cause, or a cause unto itself. It's sort of an ontological claim about reality that we're backing up with a feeling. Hitchins himself would not accept that in any other circumstance other than free will. And so this is not a real argument being made. It's the claim that we shouldn't even have the argument.
