The Importance of Decentralization in Blockchain

Blockchain allows a permissionless global way of storing data, exchanging value. It needs to be secure, decentralized and scalable in order to work. Solana is trying to accomplish it all in one but again, they are very scalable,. But not necessarily decentralized, not at least to the point of something like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
